How does MONEY impact your life ?

First of all I'd like to ask you few questions, and you need to answer them from your bottom of your heart.

1. Are you happy with your life now ?
If YES, does "money" criteria makes your life happier ?( including receiving presents from your beloved ones, cause they need money to buy )
If NO, do you ever feel sad, down, unhappy, unsatisfied with 'money'?

2. Do you think that money can change someone's life ?

3. Do you believe that your dreams can be true ?

4. Do you trust yourself can be better than now ?

Question no.1 is very relative, it depends on someone satisfaction needs. Some people even they've had luxury condos, fancy cars, happy blissful family, they still saying that they're not happy with their life. But I'm sure that one of their happiness comes from money, just that they never feel enough with it. Some people, they don't have much valuable things with them, but they feel their life are very happy, and of course if they could have more money to make their live better, I'm sure that they will be happier.

Why I'm saying like this ?

Well, even you like it or not, nor you admit or not, MONEY do hold important role in our life.

I know, you might say : " Money isn't that important to me" or you can say " I believe that there are more aspects more important than money ". Yeah, you're right. Money isn't the most important thing in our life.

But let's imagine this... ( of course I wish that these never happens to you or your loved ones, but just try to imagine how do you feel or what you gonna do if you had these situations? )

  • Your parents/ spouse / family / your close friends suddenly had terminal illness...

I know that it hurts much when seeing one of your beloved one laying in bed, suffering...Will you feel pain or wish that you could replace them so they'll not suffering anymore ? I believe that you will do ALL to make them recover. Go to the best doctor, alternative treatment, and you really want to give the best for them, right ?

But how if in this condition, you don't have enough money ?

What will you do? borrowing money, selling your assets, claiming insurance, or what ? Borrowing money to family members, relatives or friends will only work for short time, cause sooner or later, they will refuse to lend you money. The reason is they have their own families and own expenses too. Borrowing from bank or loan shark will lead you to huge debt. Selling assests ? It's good if you have more assets to sell, but how long can it last ? Claiming insurance is also will only settle problems at the beginning, cause as we know, terminal illness needs long time and lots of treatment and medication to recover. So, do you think if in that time you have extra income it will help you a lot ?

  • You are the money earner in your family. But nowadays economics aren't very good and a lot of companies are stretching their cost by setting employees. What if you're the one of it ?

There are lots of uncertain things in life. Job with good salary...can be gone anytime, cause no matter how good your position is, you're still working with your boss. Your boss can't help you if your company really want to set you off, even if you have many years experience, or undergraduate degree from overseas. Finding new job is not as easy, especially if you're not young anymore. Mostly companies are hiring young employees, even if you finally got one, you will be very lucky if you get same salary as before. What if you're not only depending on your salary? Having stable extra income won't make you worry of losing your job.

  • Your children is about going to university, and of course as parents you want to give the best education for them. Do you have enough money to let them study in best university ?

Pursuing study in university will cost a lot of money, and of course, if you don't have any savings for them, it will be hard for you to send them to university. Seeing your children feel so happy in their graduation day, and they're exciting when they discussed about their university to be. Can you bear to say that you can't afford them studying in university ?

Have you ever heard about family members fighting for money ?or do you ever want to buy something for you parents, spouse, children, but you don't have enough money ? How sad seeing your 5 year old son dissapoint when you said you couldn't afford the toy he wants ? Or how sad seeing your wife keeps admiring diamond rings in the jewels shop but you just couldn't afford it ?

Those are just very few examples that we really need money in our life. If you live in 50 or 60 years ago, maybe you won't need much money because life at those time are really different from now.
